This is my last piece which was created in December. I think I have an artistic block (or I'm too tired to make something after a day spent in the office). Every day I apply gesso to another page in my sketchbook and I draw nothing, I just leave it blank. This will save my time in future (=

You should try to sketch something everyday, even if it is small. THat will jump-start your creativity. That is why I try to do a little beadwork each day. The longer I wait in between each time I create, the less I will want to do it...... =:)

The lone beader has a good point. The reverse seems to be true as well... the more I do the more I want to do. I have a good receipe for when I'm blocked. I pick up something I love... a photo, a feather, a button, a poem. Then I pick up something else I love... a piece of paper or fabric, maybe. And I put the two together... with stitches or glue. That's all it takes to get me going.

I've read all of your posts just now, and I'm wondering if you are a native English speaker living in Russia, or is your English that good???

Thanks for visiting my blog. I like yours too. You write like a poet.

Thank you girls for useful advice!

Robin, your question about native English speaker is a great compliment for me. I'm not a native speaker, I think my English is that good because it was my favourite subject at school. I've always hated natural sciences and adored arts. I'm mad about foreign languages, English and Spanish are my favourite, because they sound like a song (=
Soo, I try to read books in English and I blog in English just to polish up my knowledge. And to meet nice people like you, of course ))

I'm happy to see you posting again Tatiana. Your latest piece of art is really, really nice! Let me know when you get to a point where you have time to do an ATC or 4 X 4 swap. I'd love to do one with you!
